CNN recommends Autumn is ideal for cruising Dalmatia

CNN on its show about yacht sailing says that Croatian south coast is ideal for tourists who wants to avoid the usual summer crowds. CNN reported about a five-day cruise schedule that delighted all lovers of marine natural beauty and historical heritage.

The trip according to a CNN crew should start in Split, the cultural and economic center of Dalmatia with a bunch of modern shops, cafes and art galleries. In Split, of course there is the unavoidable Diocletian's palace.

The next stop is Hvar, a fashionable island gathering. Like the rest of the Croatia's coast, Hvar is liked by world stars like Brad Pitt, Sharon Stone and Steven Spielberg, according to CNN and that Hvar is the Croatian Dalmatian island of Saint-Tropez equivalent.

The third day is reserved for Korcula, the birthplace of Marco Polo. CNN recommends visiting bishop's treasury, and then visit the Mljet National Park.

The last five-day stop should be Dubrovnik - pearl of the Adriatic Sea, which earned the nickname of a rich cultural history and stunning harbor. Since Dubrovnik in the summer is crowded, it is good to wait for fall to enjoy the city's charm. When you're there, do not miss walking the city walls as recognized as one of the biggest Croatian's beauties.
